Stadium floor tickets for all NZ/AU shows will be paperless with delivery via mobile devices 72 hours prior to the applicable show.
The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 kicks off in Auckland on 8th November and will visit Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, before moving on to Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul. Special guest Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is confirmed as support for the dates in New Zealand and Australia.

Event Information
At Mt Smart Stadium we go out of our way to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In return, we ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all our patrons. To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the following conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.
DRESS CODE
For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.
We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.
SECURITY
Stadium management and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags and other carried items for searching, including being subject to a pat down and/or a scanner search before entering the stadium.
If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you will be denied entry.
Entry will be refused if a patron is intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances.
SEARCH ON ENTRY
You and/or your possessions will be subject to a safety and security search / wanding upon entry. Below is a list of prohibited items. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.
If you do not require to have a bag with you, leave it at home and take advantage of our express lanes at the gates.

- Bags larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”)
- Video cameras and recording device (this does not include mobile phones)
- Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter) and/or a removable lens.
- Prams and strollers
- Selfie sticks, Go Pros, Drones
- Banners with poles
- iPads or Tablets
- Cans or glass of any kind
- Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs
- Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways
- Metal utensils and containers, cutlery, etc.
- Chilly bins / Coolers
- Dangerous goods
- Fireworks, flares, lasers or flash lights
- Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery
- Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as glow sticks, balls, containers, etc.
- Air horns and loud hailers
- Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters
- Furniture chairs or stools
- Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters
- Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
- Any other items deemed by stadium management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others
- Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.
PERMITTED ITEMS
- Small personal cameras and camera phones are allowed. Professional cameras, or any camera with a lens larger than a standard watch face or with a removable lens will not be permitted.
- Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to be used at the free water stations.
- Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - please note lid will be discarded on entry to the stadium.
- Disability assistance dogs.
- Signs no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium.
- Small quantities of home prepared food.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
- Mt Smart Stadium complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons.
- There will be zero tolerance for intoxication.
- Those who arrive at the gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated will be escorted from the venue.
- Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises.
- Persons supplying alcohol to underage patrons will be evicted from the premises.
- Mt Smart Stadium maintains a strict 'no drugs' policy.
- Illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated at the gate. Patrons who are caught in possession of any prohibited substance will be denied entry into the venue.
- Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession inside the stadium will be escorted from the premises.
- Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation requires it.
BEHAVIOUR
In extreme cases, a patron who exhibits unacceptable or disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave the stadium. Dangerous activities such as aggressive moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing and climbing are not permitted and may result in the removal of patrons from the event. Failure to comply with a direction from Mt Smart Stadium staff, security staff or the NZ Police to leave the event venue after having being warned to leave may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 of the Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.
Parking
There are no general parking facilities onsite for concerts. We strongly encourage patrons to use the free travel on special event bus and train services to get to and from the concert. View public transport information here.
If public transport is not an option, parking is usually available for a fee at businesses surrounding the stadium. Please be aware that if you park on a street or in a business that is subject to a later road closure or parking restrictions you may be towed or delayed from exiting. Signage will be erected on the applicable streets and information on these restrictions will be available on our website closer to the event.
Mobility Parking
Onsite mobility parking is strictly available for patrons who hold a current mobility parking permit. To register for mobility parking please send your valid mobility permit number to bookings@aucklandstadiums.co.nz. You will need to present your mobility permit to traffic control staff for access - no exceptions.
Drop Off Point
Recommended drop off/pick up point is Church Street (west of Maurice Rd).
Coach Parking
Please email bookings@aucklandstadiums.co.nz if you require coach parking. This parking is not available for motorhomes or campervans.
Campervan / Motorhome Parking
Campervan/motorhome parking is not available onsite. You can locate nearby camping sites at https://campable.com/
Your Tickets
General Admission tickets
All general admission tickets for this show will be completely paperless. You will receive your tickets via mobile 72 hours prior to the show.
Red Zone tickets
All Red Zone tickets can only be collected from the Box Office (located near Gate B) on the day of the concert.
Collector tickets
All collector tickets will be dispatched a month prior to the concert.
Mobile and Print-At-Home tickets
All mobile and print-at-home tickets will be delayed until 72 hours prior to the concert.
Mobility tickets - Please use Gate B
There is a mobility platform located on the field for mobility patrons to use. If you would like to book a space on the platform please call ticketmaster on 09 970 9711. Mobility patrons with GA Field tickets can also access the field. Please enter the venue through Gate B and speak to a member of our mobility assistance teams - they are in blue hi-vis vests.
Where is my seat?
Your bay, row and seat number can be found on your ticket. Please only enter via the gate specified on your ticket.
Row A starts closest to the field.
Ticket Collection
Tickets can be collected from Gate B on the event day from 9.00am.
Gate Sales
Unless sold out prior, gate sales will be available from the Box Office at Gate B from 9.00am on event day.
Tickets purchased from Viagogo/Trade Me or Other On-seller
Ticketmaster is the official ticketing agent for this show. We cannot guarantee the authenticity or validity of tickets purchased from third-party sellers such as Viagogo or individuals selling on Trade Me.
Children/Babies
All patrons (including children and babies) must hold their own ticket.

Travel on trains and special event buses to U2's concerts at Mt Smart Stadium is included with your concert ticket.
Traffic and public transport will be busier than normal, please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time. Your concert ticket includes your trip to and from the event on trains, the Northern Express (NX1/2), and special event buses. Make sure you save your ticket for the ride home!

Mt Smart Stadium welcomes guests with General Admission (GA) tickets to arrive and form the line in advance of typical arrival times for events. All guests are required to abide by the provisions within the following policy. Ticket holders found in violation of the following policy may be asked to surrender their paperless tickets and leave Mt Smart Stadium property. Remember to download your GA mobile tickets from your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. When it’s time to enter the venue, have your tickets ready for scanning. Ensure you have sufficient battery and the brightness on your mobile device is turn all the way up
The GA line will be formed along the Maurice Road Entrance Street wall of Mt Smart Stadium as indicated by signs saying “General Admission Entrance.” The GA line will enter through Gate F “Entrance”. There will be Number system sign indicating ticket holder placement (1 thru 50) (51 thru 100), etc.
GA ticket holders may begin lining up at 1:00pm on the date of show.
Entering the GA line indicates the guest’s agreement to abide by all Venue policies and procedures (the same as while inside the building).
Upon arrival, each guest who indicates he or she has GA floor standing will have a sequentially numbered wristband put on his or her right wrist. Wristbands will be distributed at 8:00am (subject to change day of show).
The order of entrance into the building will be based on the number of the guest’s wristband.Wristbands will be provided on a first come, first served basis.Once a GA ticket holder has their wristband, they may remain in line or leave the area, but must return to their sequential place in line by 1:00pm.
Guests are not permitted to “hold” a place in line for other guests who are arriving later.
The wristband must remain on the guest’s right wrist while in line.Loss or removal of the wristband will require the guest to obtain another wristband and take their sequential place in line.
GA ticket holders will be admitted in sequential order once doors are opened, scheduled for 3.00 pm.
Guests are permitted to have a reasonable amount of food and non-alcoholic beverages while in line.No bottles (including water bottles), cans or food are allowed into the building.
Please be respectful of other guests in line - no running, pushing or line jumping; no alcohol, drugs or glass containers; no horseplay or unsafe behavior; no profanity; no tailgating, open flames or barbeques; no selling of tickets, wristbands, concessions or merchandise; no animals (except service animals); no smoking in line.
Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited from entering the building: all outside food and beverages, weapons of any kind, pepper spray/mace, alcohol, cameras with detachable lenses, video recording equipment, audio recording equipment, laser pointers, fireworks, iPads, GoPros, selfie-sticks, glow sticks, glass bottles, plastic bottles, or cans. Any person with these items found within the venue during tonight’s event may be subject to ejection from the venue without refund.
A variety of food and beverage outlets with bar service will be located throughout the venue. You will be able to enjoy; The White Lady, Kebab on Queens, Taco Laco (GF & V), Hungri Hunter and Fritz Weiner and many more great options.
If you are under 25 please bring identification if you wish to purchase alcohol. Accepted forms of ID are - Passport, NZ Drivers Licence or HANZ 18+ card. If we are unsure of your age and you cannot present ID, you will not be able to purchase alcohol.
Eftpos is available at most food and beverage outlets
You are welcome to bring in small quantities of non commercially prepared food such as sandwiches, fruit or baking. You may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water (up to 750ml) however please note that the lid will be removed and discarded on entry. Alternatively, you can bring an empty plastic bottle without the life (up to 750ml) to use at free water stations.
