Warriors deliver 10/10 sellout season

The One New Zealand Warriors have created history at Go Media Stadium, becoming the first NRL team to ever sell out an entire home season.

The Warriors have sold out all 10 regular season NRL games taking place at Go Media Stadium this season. They have also sold out their two regular season home games which have taken place outside of Auckland, in Brisbane and Christchurch respectively.

Over a quarter of a million tickets have been sold through the course of the season. The average matchday attendance at Go Media Stadium in 2024 has been 23,642 per match, which is higher than last year’s 22,739 for 10 games including the playoff against Newcastle.

Across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, 20 of the Warriors’ 25 home games have been sold out.

Ground Breakers. History Makers.

“It’s an unbelievable achievement and one we’re very proud of,” said One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George.

“Most of all this is a tribute to our members and fans who have been behind the team and the club all the way. They’re the heroes here, simply the best fans there are.”

“It’s a fantastic effort to sell out every game this season” said One New Zealand Warriors captain Tohu Harris.

“As players we can’t say enough about what our fans mean to us when we run out to a packed house at home game after game.”

“We’re so grateful to them and how loyal they are. The atmosphere they create is the best in the NRL. Nothing beats playing at Go Media Stadium.

The Fortress

Go Media Stadium has long been called “the fortress” by One New Zealand Warriors fans and their loyalty to the team is proven time and again. Rain or shine, win, loss or draw they represent their team and come flooding through the stadium gates in their thousands.

Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Director Stadiums James Parkinson is proud to see history created at Go Media Stadium:

“Congratulations to the One New Zealand Warriors on a groundbreaking season. Becoming the first NRL team to sell out a whole season is a remarkable achievement and is a testament to the incredible connection that the Warriors have built with their fanbase and with Go Media Stadium as the home fortress.

The atmosphere at this special venue on Warriors gameday is electric and is one of the reasons that fans are drawn back time and again.

This achievement is a fantastic milestone for sport in Tamaki Makaurau and across Aotearoa, as fans from all over the country travel tirelessly to celebrate their team at New Zealand’s favourite sporting venue.

This fantastic run of sellout games stretches back in the 2023 season and we would love to see it continue into 2025 and beyond.”
