An action-packed weekend for the D1NZ Super night awaits at Go Media Stadium, featuring night drifting, monster trucks, new grandstand areas and more. Lights, Camera, Action!

The D1NZ National Drifting Championship returns to the custom circuits for the only Auckland visit of the season at the bespoke Mt Smart Stadium that always provides an electric atmosphere.

This event has a strictly limited capacity and will sell out.

Please Note: Motor racing is dangerous and spectators attending this event do so entirely at their own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.

 

Monster Truck Debut

Get ready for some big stunts and jumps as the Monster Trucks make their way to join us for the night spectacle, providing wheelies, jumps and stunts to impress the young and old.

 

Grandstand Areas

In 2025 D1NZ is initiating new Grandstand areas, due to this tickets will not be split and Grandstand areas are on a first served basis.

The event is happening at Go Media Stadium. Located in Penrose, Auckland. You can find directions to the venue here.

It's easy to reach Go Media Stadium on public transport with bus and train services from the City Centre and beyond. Our nearest train station is Penrose, from there it is around a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

Yes! Wheelchair Accessible seating with the option of an Accompanying Guest are available through regular ticket purchase - however if you are having trouble booking, or you are looking for different accessibility needs, you can learn how to book accessible seating here.

  • Phone: Call Ticketek's Accessible Seating booking line (0800 686 677) if you require special access, wheelchair or accompanying guest seating. The booking line is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

There are no pass-outs, so please bring what you need.

Please note the below advice for the dress code and for bringing signs and umbrellas into the venue.

This is an all-ages event. Adult pricing is for those aged 15+, child pricing is for those aged 8-14.Tamariki aged 7 and under are FREE.

​Please note that children aged 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult, and must be supervised at all times.

Child pricing is available for those aged 8-14. Tamariki aged 7 and under are FREE.

Times may vary and change without notice due to the nature of Motorsport. Being changeable weather, it is recommended to bring warm clothes, some blankets, and umbrellas if the weather is forecast to be wet. D1NZ will drift rain or shine, and the show will go on.

  • Public foot traffic is via either O’Rorke Road or Beasley Ave entrances

  • Access for Driver and disabled parking only is via O’Rorke Road.

  • No other parking is provided on-site however there are many businesses around O'Rorke road that fans can park in and around

Friday: Gates open on Friday for Qualifying: 3.00pm - 8.00pm
Saturday: Gates open on Saturday from 12pm - 8pm.

Main battles for Pro-Sport will start at 1pm with battles starting for Pro category around 4.00pm.

Please note: Due to the nature of motorsport, times may vary and change without notice.

Closed toe and sensible shoes are recommended for the whole family as you may need to walk through an area where the cars have been transiting (there could be fluid, screws or sharp metal objects dropped).

We recommend you bring along what you need for all weather scenarios, from sunscreen to warm clothes and umbrellas - D1Z drift rain or shine. Please remember there are no pass-outs, so bring what you need.

Small quantities of home-prepared food, including sandwiches or snacks may be brought into the venue. No commercially prepared food can be brought into the event as per our conditions of entry. We will have a variety of food vendors open on the day to purchase food or drinks from.

Entry for the Hardpark showcase under the iconic Go Media Stadium Western Concourse are by application only. You can apply to D1NZ to showcase your vehicle here.

Yes. 

  • For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.
  • We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.
  • No high-visibility vests or clothing may be worn

Yes, umbrellas are permitted for sporting events. Patrons are not permitted to open umbrellas while in their seats.

Yes. There is limited mobility parking is availabile onsite, please email info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz for more information. Mobility parkers will need to provide proof of their mobility parking permit and car details.

There is no onsite parking for this event. Parking is available on the streets surrounding Go Media Stadium (please be aware that some streets may be closed for the event delivery). Parking on private property is at your own risk.

All patrons should enter via Gate B. Please be aware that there is no entrance via Maurice Road. Please enter via O’Rorke Road or Beasley Ave.
